Day 4 – Meh.

First Thoughts

Woke up not feelin’ it today. Had a huge craving for dairy. Not a specific type of dairy, just something from a cow utter, anything really. Not sure where that came from. And, it’s kind of surprising because I thought for sure my first craving would be for some type of bread. I do miss my crunchy crackers with a salad but it’s not been an actual craving. This was weird and it made me a little grumpy which was also surprising. I’m over it now – mostly.

Anatomical Changes

My head is still clear but I’m feeling run down today – slow and not as motivated. I slept fine but I still feel tired. Which is not that unusual for me but weird because I’ve felt so great the last three days. I felt like I needed a nap all day.

I also must mention that I haven’t had to take a fiber supplement for my, *cough* morning, *cough* bm. If nothing else, whole foods and lots of veggies is good for that. Haha!

Day 4 Meals

Day 4 Breakfast

  • Breakfast – Two eggs scrambled with sautéed onions, a banana and coffee. Meh.
  • Lunch – Salad with roasted chicken, blueberries, toasted walnuts and balsamic vinegar dressing. I had a couple pieces of fresh pineapple for dessert.
  • Dinner – Enchilada Stuffed Sweet Potatoes with veggie condiments and guacamole.
  • Drinks have consisted of black coffee and unsweetened black tea. Meh.

Last Thoughts

I’ve noticed that it is really strange to me to eat only one main thing for a meal. Like, with no sides. For dinner we had those amazing stuff potatoes and I was all, “Where’s the rice? We should have chips and cheese. What about beans?” We got to enjoy the simple flavors. When there’s just a few items you can take the time to enjoy each part. It was a great dinner. Definitely a keeper.
